Game overview

Play the EEG experiment game, test your recognization, categorization and reaction time skills by identifying different colors in German.

This game is a digital recreation of an original experiment conducted on a keyboard-connected computer during an EEG recording session. Through the use of recognition, categorization, and motor response reaction tasks, players are presented with a stimulus that unveils three sources of information about a specific color all at once: the written name of the color, the tone of its font, and a spoken word. The gameplay consists of either target color detection or comparing various color information sources, followed by a response with the Arrow Left button as true or the Arrow Right button as false. The experiment was initially conducted in German, with four distinct colors utilized: rot (red), grün (green), blau (blue), and gelb (yellow) yielding a total of 64 possible combinations that players can experience in the game.
